|Richard Dendy – Executive Director
Richard joined the Haven staff in 2017, with the intent of transitioning to the role of Executive Director in 2018. Although possessing an extensive background in the business world (having spent 30 years with BMO in commercial banking), Richard has always had a heart for ministry as evidenced by his former role on the Haven Board of Directors. He and his wife, Shani, live in Tsawwassen, BC and have one adult son.
|Deborah Graham – Office Manager/Finances
Deborah joined the Haven team in 2005 and wears a number of hats. As well as assuming responsibility for the smooth functioning of our office, she handles all our finances, does data entry, oversees our shipping department, and is often the welcoming voice you hear when calling our office. Deborah and her husband, Jim, make their home in Tsawwassen, BC and have two grown daughters.
|Holden Bowker – Donor Relations/Special Projects
Holden has been with Haven Canada since 2002. He served as Haven’s Executive Director for 15 years, before retiring from that position at the end of 2017. Holden supports Richard in a part-time role and assists with donor engagement and special projects. Holden and his wife, Vicki, will provide oversight of the Haven Holy Land tour in November 2018. They have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren.
|Shani Dendy – Prayer and Concern Ministry/ Administrative and Web Assistant
Shani is new to the Haven team in 2018. She coordinates the Prayer and Concern Ministry. Shani multi-tasks in her part-time role, assisting Deborah with administrative duties, updating the website back-end, assisting with graphic design, and organizing special projects.
