"Now learn this... from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near."
(MATTHEW 24:32-33)

Matthew 24:30-35
Do you ever get discouraged at the condition of our society? Does it appear that immorality and corruption are the rule, while morality and justice are the exception?

We live in a troubled world… a world where both the people and the natural creation yearn for relief from the consequences of sin and the sentence of death. But, just as in the time of Noah, our culture laughs in the face of coming judgment. The concept of a righteous king who will return to judge the earth is mocked as a religious fairy tale. Yet, as the flood came in Noah’s time, despite the people’s denial, so Jesus Christ will come again in power and glory.

Some people have tried to predict the day of Christ’s return. But the Bible warns us against attempting to guess the exact date. Still, while we can’t know the precise time, we can watch for the signs described in Matthew 24 and 25. Most important of all, we can receive the salvation Jesus offers. Then, no matter when it happens, we will certainly be ready for His return.
