We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Romans 8:26b
If you haven’t already guessed, our theme this month is prayer. Prayer is one of the greatest privileges that we have as Christians. We have access to the Holy of Holies. We have the right and privilege to lift up our cares, concerns, and desires to the very Creator of the universe. There is no power on earth that can compare to being heard by the One who created that earth.
Our study of prayer will be structured around the model ACTS: Adoration, in which we gaze upon the character of God; Confession, because having seen His holiness, our sins are thrown into stark contrast; Thanksgiving, in which we express our gratitude not only for the gifts He has given us but foremost for our gracious God; and Supplication, in which we present our requests to Him.
We have a Father who so loves us that He sent His Son to save us. He delights to hear our prayers and even intercedes when we do not know what words to say. He is a good Father who loves to hear from His children. Take advantage of the privilege of prayer!
