"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?'
And I said, 'Here am I! Send me!'"
(ISAIAH 6:8)

Isaiah 6:1-8
What is first thing you do every morning? If you are like most of us, you grab a quick cup of coffee and start in on your tasks for the day. You think about them, worry about how to do them, feel the pressure of how little time you have to accomplish them, and then you become immersed in actually doing them.

I recently heard a lovely personal testimony from someone who said she starts each day not focusing on her tasks, but seeking the Lord’s will for her life. Her day starts with, “Lord, what would have me do today?” And like the prophet Isaiah, she answers, “Send me!”

Isaiah had seen a vision of the Lord seated on a throne in his presence, and Isaiah was utterly humbled and undone. He knew his own imperfections in light of the all-holy God, yet he enthusiastically wanted to go and serve.

Why don’t you ask the Lord to show you His will for your day? Listen; He will guide you. You will begin to understand what an abundant life is when you live with your entire life and being for the Lord.
