"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though
God were making his appeal through us."
(2 CORINTHIANS 5:20A)

2 Corinthians 5:18-20
Several years back while in college I used to wear an old grey t-shirt with a picture of a panda on it, claiming that something out of the ordinary always happened to me when I wore it. I began to call it “Panda Day” and even started looking for “adventures” to have when the panda shirt was what I put on that morning.

As a follower of Jesus, I know that this kind of intentional living – being open to the
opportunities the Lord gives – is what I’m called to every day. “Panda Day” is just a physical reminder of an intangible truth: that Jesus is calling us not to go through our daily grind with our heads down, but to live with our heads up and our hands open. We are to “…encourage one another daily, as long as it is called ‘Today,’ so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness” (Hebrew 3:13). We are Christ’s ambassadors, working alongside of Him to bring His kingdom to earth day by day. And it doesn’t really matter what clothing we’re wearing because we’re clothed in His
righteousness instead!
