"Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance."
(JUDE 1:1-2)

2 Timothy 1:8-10;
Romans 8:38-39
Can you imagine love “in abundance”? No doubt it would be wonderful and would give you buoyancy in life to surpass just about any circumstance. But no matter how great your imaginings, the abundant love God gives to us in Christ is greater.

The love between a husband and wife begins at some point in time; both hope it will continue until death separates them. However, they do know that there is always the possibility it will end. The love of a parent for a child also began at a point in time, yet despite the best of assurances, children worry that something they do will cause their parents to stop loving them. Our love is time-bound and tenuous. The love that God gives to us in Christ is abundant; it has no beginning, and it will never end.

If you are feeling the pain of love lost, lean hard on Jesus. On the cross He removed the guilt of your sin, and that is mercy. In life, He always obeyed God for you – giving you peace with God. If you believe that, you are kept by Him. Receive His abundant love!
