"At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory."
(MARK 13:26)

Revelation 1:4-8
Living in the northeastern part of the United States, we know all about winter. Last year we shoveled 193 inches of the white stuff! Some years we’re bombarded with ice, wind, snow, or any combination of these. Springtime can never come soon enough.

The first winter in our new home began in October and was still hanging on in March. One morning as I opened the door to go to work, I noticed something yellow and purple on the ground. I was greeted by a clump of crocuses – one of the surprising heralds of spring! Throughout that day thoughts of those flowers brought a smile to my face.

At some point in time, Jesus will break through the clouds, and trumpets will gloriously announce His return. What will this mean to you and to those you know and love? For a child of God, just thinking of it can bring tears of joy. For others it may mean nothing. The surprise appearance of spring flowers reminds us that Jesus’ return will come when we least expect it. Since we’ve been waiting for 2,000 years, meet Him with joy!
