“For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands.” Psalm 91:11-12

Psalm 91
When you are worried or disheartened about the day ahead of you, just remember what the Bible teaches about the Lord’s army. Jesus commands a great host of immortal, powerful angels—at least a hundred million of them (see Daniel 7:10 and Revelation 5:11-12)! In obedience to the Father, the Son rules these creatures for the benefit of His elect.
Try to grasp the magnificence of God commanding “his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways… lest you strike your foot against a stone.” You’re watched over by God’s heavenly servants. Hebrews 1:14 says, “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” What’s more, after His angels guard us in this life, Jesus will send them when He returns to gather us for eternal life (see Matthew 24:31).
So don’t get angel amnesia! Be comforted. Remember that at God’s command is an army of angels that He uses to guard and serve His human children. Truly He is a refuge and a fortress for all who trust in Him.
