“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Acts 20:35
We’re just one week away from Christmas Day! One week from opening gifts and celebrating, if even in a small way with someone we know or have just recently met. We’re approaching a day where even someone who otherwise feels negatively about life may feel on Christmas, I have been blessed.
We bless others through our words, finances, and time. My daughter and I once prayed fervently together that the Lord would somehow provide a car that she could use for traveling to and from college. Not long after, someone from our church felt led by the Lord to offer us the extra car she had. We were ecstatic to see God’s provision and blessing!
Be a blessing! Make a difference through little and big ways. Spend time with someone, or send a card. Drop off some cookies. When we bless each other, we are then a little glimpse, a faint picture, a human replica of how God blesses us. And of all the countless blessings we have known, they all were set into motion when the blessing of baby Jesus came to us that first Christmas in Bethlehem.
