“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:20
I have a distant relative who represented our government as an ambassador years ago. He served in several key countries. I remember meeting him and thinking, “Wow, this guy was hand-picked by our president to be his representative.” When he spoke, we listened.
Did you know that as Christians we are chosen by God Himself to be His ambassadors? The ministry He’s given us is one of reconciliation. We speak for the King of heaven, and He speaks through us. His message is plain: “Be reconciled to God” through Jesus.
So we carry Jesus to people around us who are separated by sin, showing them the way out. God has done everything necessary through His Son for us to be brought into a relationship with Him. Now we tell His story and let His Spirit do the work. We can be alert, vigilant, and ready to roll for Him, but He alone brings peace and stability to life. It’s not complicated. The purpose of God’s plan of redemption is for lost people to be made whole. You’ve been hand-picked by Him to be His representative in that plan.
